Try Great Products!

I LOVE makeup and trying different beauty products. I found a way to try things I may never even consider testing out (much less buying) and wanted to share this with my fellow makeup addicts. Ipsy sends me everything from hair products to nail polish to skin care to makeup. Often times, the products are full size too. For only $10 per month I get to experiment with some items I've never even heard of and many name brands too. All of the products are packaged together in an adorable makeup bag.

This is what I got this month...
October 2015

So far, I've used the hand lotion, and it's fantastic! The lipstick is on trend and wears well. I'm looking forward to testing out the rest.

Want to give it a try? All you do is click the link below. It will take you to the Ipsy website. One you're there you will be asked to complete a survey. Your responses will determine what types of products you'll receive in your Ispy bag.

Then, after you receive your monthly swag, Ipsy sends you an email with a link to your Glam Room. That's where you review the products you received. There are plenty of discounts on the products you like. It's a win-win! If you're not happy with the types of items you're receiving, you may retake their quiz at any time. You also earn points for each product you review. Once those points get to 1000, you get free stuff.

Nail Art

It's been a minute since I've posted. I thought I'd share the nail art I've done since the beginning of the year. I don't claim to be an artist. I just have fun with my nails. Like makeup, nails are one of the fun aspects of being a girl!

I don't know about you, but I'm glad beauty and fashion rules have changed. Years ago, it was fashionable to match your nail color to your lipstick. I change up my makeup look almost daily, so it wouldn't be too convenient to change my nail color that frequently. Who has that kind of time?

Which one of the designs above is your favorite?

This Hair Balm is the Bomb

I'm back! It's been quite a while since I've posted, and I miss it! Hope you're all having a great start to 2014!

Today I'm going to share a quick review about a L'Oreal's Total Repair 5 Damage-Erasing Balm. I use it once a week from root to tip. Once you apply it, it's supposed to be left on for five minutes. Usually, the longer I have to leave a conditioner on my hair the more weighed down it gets. Not this one! This product leaves my hair really shiny and with lots of body. It rinses easily too. I've found some deep conditioners don't seem to want to get out of my hair.

If you 're looking for a great deep conditioner/hair balm, I recommend this one highly. Just know that it can't repair split ends (nothing can), but it will make your hair shiny, soft and healthy looking.

Please let me know what you think if you try it.
