Not all primers are created equal

In the past few years, I've tried a few face primers. Each have a different formula, but all make the same promise. They claim to hold your makeup on all day and make your skin a smooth canvas.

The first I tried is Laura Geller's Spackle that you can find at Ulta, QVC.com or laurageller.com. This is only a sample size. The product is normally sold in an airtight pump.

I found this one took a while to dry.  It costs over $20, and I didn't find it to be worth it.

The next one I tried is by L'Oreal. I don't like anything that comes in a pot that you put your fingers in for sanitary reasons. This product is like a paste, and I didn't care for the way it felt on my face.

My favorite primer is by Rimmel. It's less than $10! It has a slight tint to it and dries quickly. I find that it evens out the texture of my face and helps my makeup stay on all day.

While on the subject of primers, I LOVE the e.l.f. eyelid primer. This product is only $1!!! You can find it at Target and some Walmart stores. It prevents my eye shadow from creasing and keep its color true all day.

What's your favorite primer(s)?
